Summer time is upon the Central Valley! This will be my first summer in Merced and I must remark that is quite hot; however, I like the heat.
Yesterday, I attended the San Joaquin Valley Regional Blueprint Summit at the Fresno Convention Center and it was awesome! I got to see some friends, meet new people, and learn more about the southern portion of the Central Valley.
The primary message of the summit is that all those who attended are now “champions” of the region and that we must get other people involved.
Therefore, I write this to encourage everyone who is reading it to get involved in the San Joaquin Valley Regional Blueprint. According to ValleyBluePrint.org, “The San Joaquin Valley Blueprint Planning Process is a chance to plan for the future of transportation and land use in the San Joaquin Valley. By engaging citizens and policymakers at the local and county level, the Valley will be able to create a regional vision to ensure that California’s fastest growing region will thrive into 21st century.”
The time to get involved is now! If you have any questions, then please feel free to post a comment.
