Dear Mr. Franco,
My name is Brandon Ortega and I'm a senior at Cal State Los Angeles. I'm working on a group film project about lots of different issues and topics concerning the election and politics in general. I was wondering if you would be availiable to do an interview anytime soon to talk about the election, the opinions of Obama and McCain concerning the important issues people take into consideration when voting.
Just a whole lot of things really. The interview could take not much time at all. Please let me know if and when you can be availiable.
Hope to hear from you.

So these republicans don't think perhaps that they ARE representing their constituencies who ELECTED them to office when the said that they would not raise their taxes during the campaign?

I agree with your argument sir, but your tactics need some work. Republicans may have a different philosophy than us, but if you ask them I am sure they would say that they ARE representing the people who elected them to come to the Assembly.

If you really want a solution to our problems I suggest you looking towards redistricting reform, which is opposed by the Democrats in the legislature (See the CCOPA's donations to Perata). Gerrymandering leads to safe districts where only extreme opinions can win in primaries and face no opposition in the general election. If we want compromise (Not the reeps getting their way and not the Liberal-Hippy Dems we have in the legislature now getting theirs) we need redistricting reform to bring more moderate members to the legislature who both are willing and have incentive to compromise.

I apologize that I must remain anonymous.

The Governor can line-item veto (blue pencil) anything in the budget.

As it stands, he appears unwilling to effectively use this power to ensure a balanced budget.

Rather, he wants to grow through the process of amending the constitution.

Thus, I would argue he is abdicating his responsibility and attempting to shield himself from any backlash which would come from using the line-item veto.

I just found that my comment was approved by the moderator and someone commented back with the following:

wturner writes: "Joshfranco: Spoken with the entitlement fervor of a true UC graduate: "Why should it matter how much it costs to ensure that my teeth are healthy?" That is exactly why health care is so expensive today--because healthcare consumers are disconnected from the cost of what they consume. It matters because dental care requires the labor of dentists and hygenists. Others must labor to pay them for their labor. If you use the coercive force of government to compel your parents and others to pay from the fruits of their labor (again, the definition of slavery) for the care of your teeth, that is money that they cannot use for other purposes such as education, food, housing, their own childrens' dental care, etc. There is no true principle of liberty or justice that entitles you to another's labor for this. Obviously, UC taught you about entitlement but very little about liberty, accountability or economics. Now that you have your degree, permit me to suggest that you commence your education"

Obviously, the individual did not read my comment. My question was pointed to my parents.

Video of last roll of Round #5

Danny (Team 2) v Cynthia (Team 1).

Danny plowed through Australia and had to destroy Cynthia in Western Australia to complete the absolute destruction of Team 1.

Here is the video:

Round #5:

Saul: No turn.

Chris: Wiped me out. The game is over.

Josh: No turn.

Danny: He is trying to wipe out Cynthia. OMG: 1 v 1. If Danny roles a 1 we "unofficially" win.

Just watch the video.
