“We believe students should have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the research methods of Political Science in their first year or second year of post-secondary education.”

“Our sincerest hope is that this scholarship, complemented with two freely available Open Education Resources and access to Stata, serves as a spark which welcomes the next and more diverse generation into the discipline of political science.”

“This scholarship supports at least one student each year who successfully completes POSC 170 Introduction to Political Science Research Methods at Cuyamaca College.”
